Is there a simple way to close gaps with drywall?

the guy who redid my kitchen left an 11 inch gap all along the wall behind the oven and cabinets between the floor and drywall. Found it because there is a big draft in that side of the kitchen and when I moved the oven, found the gap. Have to cut around to fit the gas connection, too.

You should take him to small claims Court. Comment on yelp or local listserv or if he has an fb page. post your complaint on it.

he moved out of state!! If he was still around, I'd have gotten him back to fix it. thanks.
Get a piece of drywall and patch it. Lots of DIY videos on u-tube.
