Use a Bleach/Water Combination. Using a mixture of 0.5 cup bleach to 1 quart water, take a scrub brush and lightly brush the drywall until all of the signs of mold disappear. You'll want to wipe off the surface once it has disappeared, but make sure you don't rinse the surface. Also get some kilz paint and paint it,

Unless you had water damage, you first need to find the cause. Once this is corrected, Sharyn is spot on.

There is a mould killer primer..you can use that. If you use bleach the mold does not die,it moves...believe it or not.

I have tried several things and the best answer I can give is white vinegar full strength wipe the mold off with it and after cleaning wipe on a little extra and let it air dry. You may have to open a window but I find the mold is less likely to come back with the vinegar there.

I would be more concerned about where the mold is coming from what is causing it... and tearing out the dry wall to see what is behind it is the best way to do that.. you may find out that the mold you see is only the tip of the iceberg... Wear eye protection and a respirator... and if it is very black and larger that 24 inches square... stop and call an abatement team... then call a contractor to help find the cause.. AngiesList.com or HomeAdvisor.com can help you find a reputable one.
