I give up. What are flat oven sheets?
IF they are stained with burnt or caked on dark stains, you can wad up tin foil and scrub nearly all of it off. You can also put 2 orange peels in a cup of vinegar and let it set 5 days then put the liquid in a spray bottle. Put baking soda on a stained are and spray with the liquid. It will bubble. Let it set a bit and wipe off. Repeat as needed. It will take nearly all if not all the stains off.
Cookie Sheets?
Steel wool and dish soap clean cookie sheets wonderfully on the the plain metal ones.
I am assuming the nonstick coated ones just wipe off. If not, maybe you could soak them and use a plastic scrubby and baking soda.
😊
Hi Ward14. I am assuming they are mettal? In Adelaide we call them trays. Bi Card of Soda. Mix a little into a past, cover the trays and place in a worm oven, for 5-10 mins remove, useing an old tooth brush, gently scrub the gunk burnt stuff off, then wash as usual. Tips. spray oven tray's/sheets with cooking spray or line them with baking paper or ail foil before use. Cake pan tips. Spray cake pans or use butter and flour to stop things sticking to cake pans, or line then with brown paper or ail foil. You can allso use this cleaning method for cake pans to. Good luck.
