yes, there are products on the markets that work. I believe they are by rustoleum. But you must do the recommended prep...don't skip this Part. Follow directions carefully. Must be well ventilated (I.e., open the windows). But it you follow directions you should have great results. Ps use a cutting board...do not cut directly on the surface. Keep in mind, however, Formica tops are pretty inexpensive so don't automatically decide you can't afford a new one. Most big box stores carry "stock pieces". I put in a U shaped top with a large peninsula for my daughter's townhouse myself when I was 55 ( I'm a girl) followed the directions, used the clips to hold the corners, got great advice from big box store...came out great. Repainted cabinets, put on new hardware....voila! New kitchen
There is a new type called FX 360 looks like granite for a fraction of the cost of granite. Even wraps under for a finished look curve.
Rustoleum and Gianni both make countertop restoration kits
You can try contact paper that can Self adhesives
Used Gianni 3 years ago pn my counters. Great product. Chipped an area, touched up the spot and you can't tell where. Prep as directions say. Then enjoy sponging the colors on. Don't worry there is no right or wrong look just the look you like.
