Use a pump sprayer and spray a light mist of bleach and water on. Let is dry for several hours. Then rinse with clean water.
Bleach works great but make sure to open the windows! If theres not a widow in the room make sure to use a protective mask that is for fumes. Bleach can be irritating to your lungs and skin. If you are using it in a sprayer make sure to cover any furniture and rugs with plastic or you will end up with those bleached also. It can also fade paint so be carfule how long you let it sit on it.
Skip the bleach, vinegar will kill the mold spores, bleach will not. Here you go.

yiu can use bleach but be careful with carpet or curtains!! You can also find a safer option at a health food store. Safer for any areas around the mildew that could be sprayed with bleach.
You can use vinegar or bleach to really kill it. then scrape back the paint and repaint the area with a mold-resistent paint- best of luck :)
Vinegar or bleach will do the trick!
