Sometimes a little mayonaise with a soft rag and rubbed in circles will get off a water mark. If that does not work, I use Old English furniture polish. Just a dab on a rag and rub it in a circular motion. It comes in dark or light. I also use it to hide scratches etc. It is great. It is good for the wood also. We live in a dry climate and I use it twice a year on all our wood furniture to put some moisture back in the wood. A little bit goes a long way.

Hi there Valerie, apply a dab of mayonnaise with a soft cloth and rub it into the mark in small circular motions. Leave it on for an hour or two (or even overnight) and wipe and buff with a soft, clean cloth until. If the watermark is quite deep, dip a rag into a mild solvent such as mineral spirits or odorless paint thinners. Squeeze the excess out and then rub gently until the stain is gone. You will need to test that the solvent doesn’t harm the finish by putting a small amount on an inconspicuous spot (perhaps the underside). Best of luck
