Hi Catherine, Here's a link that may help: https://www.artsychicksrule.com/kitchen-cabinet-makeover-annie-sloan-chalk-paint/
Good luck!
You can, but there are better paints for kitchen cabinets that require less work. Chalk paint will require a protective coating on the cabinets because they are cleaned a lot.
Yes but not as wise as say gluing children's framed chalkboards to a stained or painted cabinet door. Veering away from chalk paint is ---tah dah- punched tin or galvanized metal. This can be punched in a design you want using a nail and hammer or a punching tool for leather and a stencil or free form drawing. What you're talking about is a lot of work.
