What other metals are you using in that room? hammered copper, shiny gold, Aluminum? I would match the heater to the other metals as an accent piece. Be sure to use heat-resistant paint! 😇
Whoa! That’S a big wall heater. Paint the heater the same as your wall color, it will disappear, then paint a tree with branches and leaves. Not into trees, then paint a flower or something of your taste. Not an artist, then find a friend who would love to do it. I envision something fantastic!
Hello! Here are a slew of wall heater cover-up ideas from Pinterest. Click on the link below and scroll through them:

Could you make a heat cover like the ones they use on old radiators? If you make it tall and long enough to would have a shelf to decorate.
Great idea... I wish I could, but I am 70 with limited skills. You may want to design one or two models and sell them to restoration hardware stores... I want to be first in line to purchase one. Thanks!
This is a tough one. I lived with one for years but was ?lucky it was in an incredibly small hallway and all I ever did was paint it and pass thru the hallway quickly. You need to contact a cabinet builder with design capabilities. Bookcase on either side? Just be sure no fire hazard. A different metal grill?
It is a challenge because anything I put near it like a wooden chair for example gets way too hot, and I don't want a fire hazard. I love your idea of a metal grill... maybe even extend the new metal grill beyond the width of the heater so it won't look like I am covering up a heater under the grill. Thanks for your input... I appreciate it.
Maybe hang a thermometer on the heater while it's going to see how hot the metal gets, maybe also how hot it is 6 inches out, etc. If you're going to paint it,you will need heat-resistant paint for sure! Good Luck!
i saw either on here or Pinterest where they put a mat the kind with all the cross. cross openings painted the same co as the wall. That may work. Just a thought. Of course if still using check the material.
