Will my huge coleus survive outdoors through the winter?

I live in Mt Vernon, NY, Westchester County and bought my large potted coleus in last week for fear of the frost. Now it doesn't look happy and is dropping leaves. What should I do?

The coleus will not survive the first frost...take cuttings, root them in water, and pot up for speinf
Mine are gone post frost -already in Central Virginia.
Last year I took cuttings -moved indoors but they were not happy in my setting under a window, dropping leaves and failed to thrive, spindly all winter. I will not be bothering with overwintering coleus again after my experience.
