Could a skinny younger person get in there? See if you could get a small person to get it, you may have to pay for a job like this, but it would be worth it. I am always the smallest, so is my daughter, so we always get to do the I can't squeeze in there jobs.
Throw $20 to some kids to crawl in there.
I agree with Nancy. Try to find someone who can get into your crawl. If nobody available, try to locate a "handy man" in your area. You are assuming that an animal died in your crawl, but not sure, right? It could be one of a million possibilities creating the smell. Try going to Home Adviser to find a "handy man". Home Advisers does background checks and provide customer reviews. We have used that site a few times and has always worked well for us. Wishing you well.
Call an exterminator - that is what they do. Then have an inspection and plug any holes so it doesn't happen again.
Call exterminator to come and get it.
You might have to ride it out (it won't last forever)ut now would be a great time to find the outside opening the rodent(s) are using to get in and out of the crawlspace it and block it.
