Pull them out and plant red potatoes. The reds are small and should be able to grow to maturity even if they get some snow. If a hard freeze is predicted, check the potatoes and harvest them if they are usable. (If your local nursery doesn’t have sets ready to plant, then buy some red potatoes or another small potato, with eyes, cut them into halves or quarters, making sure each part has eyes. Plant where the tomatoes and peppers were, adding some potting soil or topsoil so you can make a small dirt mound for each three potato parts.) Have a great winter crop. 😇
If you have green tomatoes, wash them well. Let dry. Wrap in Newspaper, place in a box, in cold dark place. They will ripen with time, and you will have tomatoes. OR just place them in a window sill- but theymay ripen at once. Pull up plants, they are done.
