Dust and cob webs on my popcorn cathedral ceiling
I have cathedral ceilings . I can actually see dust balls clinging to the "popcorn" ceiling. Any suggestions for how to clean the high ceilings?

Vacuum with a brush attachment should take care of them.
Hello. I would use a vacuum with a brush attachment and suck them up.
If your vacuum has attachments that can reash that high use the brush attachment. That is what we do. We have tall ceilings, but not cathedral.
we didn't have popcorn, but we did have 20 ft ceilings.
dad used a shop vac, a telescoping pole, and the vacuum hose from the pool, which comes in 25 ft lengths.
a 'duster' (a fluffy brush) on same telescoping pole with sheets laid down to protect furniture? is really the only other option.
If your vacuum attachment can't reach that high, you can get a very soft paint brush and attach it to the end of the broom handle and dust the ceiling way. The soft paint brush shouldn't knock off the popcorn texture. Sometimes cloths or dusters tear on the popcorn texture and then you end up with more fuzzies on the ceiling than when you started.
Some popcorn that's been painted is pretty easy to knock off. I'd be concerned about vacuuming my 45 year old ones. I use a soft bristled broom and/or microfiber duster and they get all those dusty strings!
I would vacuum the ceiling with a brush attachment to the vacuum hose. Go slowly and thoroughly cover a square yard at a time before moving on to another portion.
