You could make your own using either plaster of paris or calcium carbonate. The mix is any type of paint and color at a 3/4 rate mix. I.E. Use 3 cups of paint to one cup of either plaster of paris or calcium carbonate. Mix either of the two I mentioned with a small amount of water and stir until totally smooth with no lumps. Then add to the appropriate paint amount. It dries quickly, and is very hard. You could use a can of poly acrylic after to both protect that and to make sure it does not yellow as it ages. I had the same issue in my 140 plus year old Victorian home.
