Get your blankets/quilts out and fold them the way you want to display them. Then measure and that will give you an idea how wide your ladder rung should be. Allow for side rails and then the height of the ladder is just a personal decision. There are so many options, but it is basically your size you have to display the ladder, the number and size of blankets/quilts.
