Put traps for the critters. The only way!
Try spraying the base of your home with household ammonia. Small animals do not like this.
Trap it in a humane trap baited with stinky cat food that has a tarp under and over it. Fold the tarp over the trap/trapped skunk and place in the back of a pick up. Carry at least 10 miles away before releasing. They are usually asleep and not very active in the day. So you can set the trap on the ground and reach under the tarp to open the door and tip him out gently.
Thanks, everyone! I will be trying some of these remedies for sure!
