Depends on what it stuck on, WD-40 works on glass and non-porous things. Acetone may also work, using well-ventilated area.
Goo Gone or WD40.
There is a product called Goo Gone that works really well.
That's one of the few things that WD-40 is actually good at. It shouldn't harm most surfaces and finishes and it does soften the adhesive enough to wipe it clean with a paper towel. Depending on the surface that has the residue on it, you may be able to get it off with no damage with a few drops og lighter fluid, (Zippo, Ronsonol, etc), Jon-E handwarmer fluid, naptha (white gas), or Coleman camp fuel. Try the WD-40 first, apply it then let it sit to work for a while.
Try WD 40.
Peanut butter is cheap and works great.
Goo gone, olive oil both work
Use A Product Called “GOO GONE”. Works Like Magic! You Can Find It @ Home Depot, Arts And Crafts Store, Even Some Major Supermarkets. Has A Lemon Scent. Buy The One With The Spray Applicator. Makes It Easier. Wash Thoroughly After Use. Petroleum Based Product.
