Try plain white toothpaste
Color over it with a dry erase marker, and then try erasing it. It should come right off!
Most ink, including felt tip marker, can be removed with isopropyl alcohol. (rubbing alcohol). 70% should do the trick but 91% will do it for sure. If you don't have fingernail polish remover you probably do have rubbing alcohol in your medicine cabinet or first aid kit, give it a try. It's not as harsh as acetone, (fingernail polish remover). Fingernail polish remover will damage or ruin many plastics, especially Styrofoam and it's not friendly to paint and other finishes. On ceramic tiles it should be OK though. As always, test in an inconspicuous spot.
Have you tried using a magic eraser? Those seem to clean up almost anything. Good luck!
Try nail polish remover, but try it out first on an area you can't see. Make a dot, let dry for 1 hr, then use the remover
This should give you several ways.

I use alcohol all the time. I reuse glass jars to store things like baking powder (I get a bag instead of the box and just refill), left overs, etc. and label the jar with marker. I use alcohol to erase that and relabel it for what is put in there.
glad to hear, works on so many issues.
