Putting a brown paper floor on concrete in a screen room

Is it possible to put a 'brown paper floor' in a screen room over a concrete floor? If so, would it require a moisture barrier and how should that be secured?

Thanks for the advice

www.youtube.com has many instructive videos on the subject. I am planning to do also and have watched a few. Here is just one. https://youtu.be/k12vSVW-bMM. Good luck!

I think you'd have to do a faux finish. I don't think it wise to put actual paper outdoors unless you want to then pour leveling epoxy over the entire thing.

It's possible but why bother? The cost of the oil base clear paint and your time is something to consider. Plus, it's not going to be a very pretty floor. Sorry. It would be easier and cheaper and probably look better to just use some latex porch paint that has the primer in it already. Two coats should do it after a good cleaning of the porch. There are lots of colors to choose from. Good luck.

thank you for all the replies. I guess I was not clear when I asked my question. I am sure I am capable of putting a brown paper floor on my screen room floor, what I want to know is: is it possible to put this type of floor on a "grade" concrete floor which occasionally gets wet from rain. Will the floor hold up with several coats of polyurethane or marine polyurethane?
