From 2 prong to 3 prong isn't hard but if you have no experience with electricity, read this first.

well first, it's a prong, not a shellfish
We just use an adapter.....Laptop computer needs a three prong for example. If it is something you use all the time, then yes, I would change the two prong plug-in to a three prong.
You need to know/remember that the third prong is a "ground" wire. If your wiring does NOT have a ground wire you should make one.
