What's the best way to obscure view at my semi-transparent front door
It's a new door so don't want to replace. Its exposed to sun and wind so not sure what wreath would work.
Might be cheaper in the long run to just buy a new door and install a kick plate.
I had the same situation... I wound up having to remove that door. It was to... an extra bathroom..that's right inside my back door area. Leaving it exposed wasn't the best idea.. But I'm not a fan of doors! Even to the bathroom that I let the guys use. Only Women Live Here... Lol.... Sooo.... I've looked into buying A Sliding Door... It's a really easy installation...and perfect for this area. Plus it doesn't take up the space of a regular door. Not purchased it yet... But that's my favorite option. Good LUUCK in what you choose
If it's the trim around the door that can be replaced. If it's the door jamb you can fill the gnawing and scratches with either wood putty or Bondo.

It would be easier to replace the door molding than attempt to refurbish it IMHO.
Remove the trim and replace.
