DIY corner unit for a rental so cannot have nails in walls etc

    You could build one with plywood. Figure the size you want, how many shelves, and how far apart the shelves will be. Connect the back pieces together securely. Get two nice thicker boards for the top and bottom. Get trim for all the edges and glue or nail them on the edges of the shelves and sides and top and bottom to give all the edges a finished look. Get the strips for hanging shelves, or if you are good enough, drill holes to put pegs in to hold the shelves, four pegs, two on each side. Paint to stain the wood as you need for the décor you have.

    One or two ladders with boards laid across the steps can fill a corner and provide room for storage baskets, books, and artwork. 😇
