Need help on what to do with paneling in main floor A-frame side walls

Adrianne C on Mar 27, 2014I've wallpapered over a lot of old, dark wood paneling with no primer, just cleaned it really well. The paste fills the grooves. It turns out beautifully! Also painted, but it takes several coats.Helpful Reply

Bonnie on Mar 27, 2014What is under that paneling? A 1980's home should have drywall. Worst case would be NOTHING! If there is drywall, you could take the paneling down, patch and paint. An easy fix is to prime and paint the paneling.Helpful Reply
