Industrial Locker System

We haven't had a main place in this house for the kids to put their backpacks and school stuff at. AND IT DRIVES ME BONKERS. I step on binders every night.
I have been looking at regular school lockers for year now, and finally got pretty serious about it. But the shipping prices were insane. So I took to the interwebs, and found a local place. They were exactly the right size or color, but I would totally compromise because they were cheaper, no shipping and were ready to go that day.
Where oh where would I hide my little purchase....
We have a walk way, so to speak, in our kitchen, that leads into the dining. There is a small 3 foot wall right off of the pantry. Even though I didn't want to take up that space, since the stove is directly across from it, it really worked out well.

The lockers (three put together) are 3 1/2 foot wide, 4 foot tall and 12 inches deep.

And they have sat on the floor for months till I walked into Lowes Home Improvement yesterday and went straight to the plumbing section.

I hardly ever measure, I laid it out in the basket after the employees had come by 2897492 times and asked if I needed help, or if I knew what i was doing.

Duh...only till they walked off I would mouth ehhh, no.

This took right at an hour to assemble (minus the hours to scrape stickers off....no comment). Cut and Sealed the wood, one of the fastest project I have ever done.

Awesome! Lockers are my fav and it's where I hide all our homeschooling stuff. Love how you built the cool industrial frame around yours - that is just great!
