Lori J on Mar 30, 2014When debating my own door color, I collected a ton of images. Maybe a cruise through these will inspire you. BTW, mine ended up orange and I love it. http://www.pinterest.com/negardengirl/front-doors-that-rock/Helpful Reply

Lorna S on Mar 30, 2014Creamy white. Red-orange. What's the color of the house woodwork? It looks avocado on my screen and that's a toughie to coordinate with.Helpful Reply

Sandy on Mar 30, 2014Lona - It does look avocado in pic but it's not. Hard to describe - was painted this color when we bought the house. It's like a brownish color. Where is Rineyville, KY. I'm from around Pikeville.Helpful Reply

Pat Dollar on Mar 30, 2014I read that painting your front door can add more value to your home than even remodeling your kitchen or bath. It does so much or curb appeal. Judging from the pictures a burnt orange or red would look great and it seems that door painting in the red family is the most popular choice when it comes to curb appeal. Post pictures when you finish the project.Helpful Reply

Pam Bolton on Mar 31, 2014Yesterday I saw a door that was pale yellow and it just lit up the entry of the house. Not a neon yellow, but a soft, buttery yellow. Check out yellow doors on Pinterest. Also think about adding a kick plate to the bottom of your door and polishing your hardware for a little more sparkle in your entryway.Helpful Reply

Gabrielle Falk on Aug 01, 2016I think that a lightish colour would lighten up your front entry. Love the idea of a soft buttery yellow. I think a dark colour might be too much, but it's all up to your personal taste. What about a high gloss white enamel? Can't go wrong with that, and it gives you the opportunity of introducing bright pots with overflowing flowers. to brighten up your space. Good luck.Helpful Reply
