I couldn't find chalk paint at lowe's other than the blackboard chalk paint, found Annie Slonne's paint at a local antique dealer.. it's great.. check it out on line...

Annie Sloan is awesome paint and I love the fact that you don't have to prep your wood, no sanding ..just make sure your piece is free of dirt etc...You have to be aware that itis VERY addicting once you start.

I've tried to find Chalk paint at both Lowes and Home Depot and they do not have it. They have Chalkboard paint which is different. Annie Sloane's is about the best although if you google chalk paint, I think a few other manufacturers also come up. It's about $35 a qt. but a qt. goes a long way and then you should use the wax on top of it also. There are lots of tutorials if you google applying chalk paint.

Look for Plaster Paint. If you go to their website, you can find vendor's that sell it.

Yea and they only have one brand that come in tiny cans at Home Depot! I tried to tell the guy. I'm like had t anyone been asking for it? He said nope. I said well they will. I bet. I wanna go back and ask him.
