AmericanWoman on Apr 02, 2014I would water down white glue with water. (50/50) Several coats. I'd finish with a clear aerosol lacquer. Minwax makes a great one. I like clear satin. (Please try this with one photo on a piece of wood before you start your project.)Helpful Reply

Sandra Hellewell on Apr 04, 2014Yes Modge Podge is your best choice! Watered down glue looks good initially but over time it yellows and starts to peel whereas MP has glue & varnish in it so it lasts for years and it's all done in one step! That's all I use!!Helpful Reply
