Using {rePurposed} Junk To Furnish Your Home

Furnishing a home doesn't have to cost a fortune! Decorating your home should be a fun process that tells a story of your unique personality. Using repurposed junk as decor not only brings character to a home, it saves you money and the environment! With the exception of mattresses and bedding, most of the decor and furniture in my home are used, repurposed items. Not only do I have four boys in the nest who provide me with natural distressing, I change my mind a lot about decor. I like to keep things fresh so spending a large amount of money on a generic mirror seems senseless to me. Come see a few of my favorite re-purposed finds!
This junk collage has a little bit of everything! Chippy window headers, rusty iron and old keys are among my favs! I love telling a story with decor!
Repurposed from and old shipping crate.
Barnwood, a little paint and hook...perfect towel holder for a small space!
Mirror made from colored bamboo sticks. Cut in random lengths, and hot glued to a floral ring. The mirror is actually from the candle section and only cost $2.97. This is easily accomplished with bbq skewers too!
