DIY Stemmed Cherry Blossoms

This DIY Stemmed Cherry Blossoms tutorial will bring Spring into your home in just a few simple steps!
About a month or so ago I did a week long series on my sister in laws baby shower. In the article I did on Mini Cinnamon Roll Pops there was a picture of a large branch covered in flowers hanging from an archway. I was so inspired by Chasfollow‘s work I knew I had to do something similar!
When Roger left for his mission trip over spring break I headed up to Tennessee to visit with family. While I was there I came across some beautiful floral cherry blossoms in Walmart’s clearance aisle. This trip to Walmart had meant to be just for buying some lollipops for Chas’s 4 little ones whom I was planning on babysitting later that night, but I ended up coming out of Walmart with something even more exciting – although I must say the owl lollipops I found for them in the seasonal section were absolutely adorable!
I couldn’t wait to get home to disassemble them and reassemble them onto the stems that I used for my winter and valentines mantel. Now that it’s done, I don’t think I can ever go back. I am seriously in love with these DIY Stemmed Cherry Blossoms! Roger thinks my obsession with cherry blossoms is humorous, but seriously, whats not to love?
I’ll try to get a picture added of the two vases on our mantel next week. The weather has been too gloomy for any living room pictures the last few days.
