Pan RENEWAL

I had been given a hint on how to get stain off of a brushed nickle light fixture by using Borax, water and a toothbrush. The color of the stain was same as on the bottom of this cookie pan.
I used a paste of borax and water and rubbed on "with my finger". Using a circular motion, I first did the larger area, then on a smaller area with thicker coating of gunk. Same results.
So little work - fantastic
Had to share - Now to get back and do the rest of the pan. Probably will use a rag (or maybe one of those cleaning mitts) instead of finger though.

This is great information, but can you please provide the amounts of borax and water to use?

I just dusted some borax on the pan and sprinkled some water with my fingers. This was just enough to make a paste. Since I was just experimenting I really don't have any measurenents. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. I keep Borax around bc I make my own laundry and dishwasher detergent. I'll give it a try.
