Donna Byram on Apr 06, 2014If it is the bottom of a privacy type fence or picket fence you can cut off the rotted part and add a board to the bottom to fill in what you had to cut off. Just make sure it is wide enough to go up high enough to reattach to the pickets or boards and to go down as far as you would like it to go. Adding photos for examples. If it's the post, most websites recommend replacing the post.Helpful Reply
