Chalk paint

GR on Apr 05, 2014Hi Dee, yes I have and it work really well as long as you sand it smooth before you put the latex on. If anything its even more durable than just using chalk paint but its quite hard to distress so it depends on the look you are going for? It's also not the cheapest option but if something can't be sanded it's no more expensive than a really good primer.Helpful Reply

Dee on Apr 05, 2014I ran out of primer, and I was thinking of using it on door jambs in the bathroom. I need to paint the entire room and was wondering if it would work. I was just going to make my own with joint compound and latex.Helpful Reply
