Dumpster to Rustic Diva Dresser/ How to Use Wallpaper on Furniture

I bought this poor little dresser from an estate sale, and it had definitely seen better days. At some point someone had spray painted it black over the top of chipping white paint, so you could see every spot the old paint was and wasn't. Since this was going to be a more rustic piece I decided not to strip it down, but just sand down the high spots. Even if I were to strip it down the wood underneath was not going to be pretty. I thought this would be a fun piece to add my textured wallpaper that looks like ceiling tin and give it an aged look. SO HERE WE GO!
Because I am limited on how many pictures I can put up here you will need to go to my blog in order to get the full step by step on how to put wallpaper on furniture and how how to get the aged tin technique.
Sanded down the worst spots, but since this is going to be rustic I am not going to waste my time trying to make this look perfect.
First layer of Paris Grey by Annie Sloan. In the end there will be 2 layers of Paris grey. Painted the drawers Old white in ASPC
Measured carefully and cut out my wallpaper for the sides. For full step by step on how to apply the wallpaper go to my blog.
Here it is before I do the aged tin technique. go to my blog to get the step by step on how to do the aged technique.
It takes many layers, but in the end it is worth it.
It is amazing how you can take a piece of furniture that has been basically ruined and bring it back to life again.
