I like to paint wooden eggs for Easter. This year I did monogrammed eggs. Many different paints and monograms. More on the website.
Monogrammed eggs displayed in candle holders and on top of jars.
This is a messy project!
One eggs is even "rusty!"
Couple of painting tips too on the website
Which is your favorite?

Melody Drinkwater Wagner on Apr 07, 2014I just bought fake white eggs. I'm putting silhouettes of my entire family on them. Now I know how to display them. My living room is black and white and I have a ton of candle holders from all these years. Thank you for posting.

Country Design Style-Jeanette on Apr 13, 2014@Colleen Schake I would suggest any large craft store or a scrapbook store. My handwriting is usually not great, but I'm learning to embrace it. I treasure the handwritten items I have from family members. The beautiful ones and the impossible to read ones.
