But, you could also have a new top cut to fit and either paint it or stain it to match the rest of your cabinet. If the base is really beautiful and functional and you plan on keeping the piece for a while it may be worth the investment to restore it! Have fun!Helpful Reply

Kathy Rick-Altschuler on Apr 08, 2014try and place shells and sand with a clear bear 50 poured over it until its level. this doesnt scratch. its like heavy duty table top finish.Helpful Reply
