This is a little home tour showing the different ways we have made out home more eco friendly and as a result saving time and energy.
We have a second water tank for that heats the floor in the basement.
We make a lot of use of natural light and heat coming from the sun. This home has large picture windows that face direct south. The sun really heats up the main living area during the winter when it is cold outside.
This is a natural gas stove and oven. It is about fifteen years old but still does a wonderful job cooking and baking. It has an electric ignition saving the amount of energy it uses and the heat is consistent throughout the cooking process.
This is a natural gas fireplace. We can control the flame size and heat with a dial on the wall. It has a built in fan that sends out heat reducing how much the two furnaces in the home have to work.
