Over on Ask Anna, there is an astounding bathtub transformation from outdated, pastel, pink, floral tiles to a gorgeous white, modern, sleek bathtub finish for less than $30!
How to update an ugly bathtub!
The processes is actually really simple. All you have to do is prep the area by cleaning it, giving it a light sanding and removing the caulking. The prep took me about 45 minutes but most of the was trying to get the 25+ year caulking off.
Mix together the two cans of the Refinishing Kit and give the tiles two coats with an hour of drying time in between.
And we're left with an absolutely gorgeous updated bathtub!

Excellent makeover. This also works great on fiberglass units. Thanks for sharing your great project.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Did you use this product on the actual tub, too, or just the tile? It's hard to tell in the photos, and the description. I'm also interested if you can see brush marks, how long the product lasts, and whether or not you have to seal it? Thanks in advance.
My tub is fiberglass that has discolored from a sky light. Will this product adhere to it?
so yo mixed in activator a with b and what is that box for did you add that in too?
