Modify brass bed frame to hold queen mattress

Diane Arnold on Apr 14, 2014You could widen it by by attaching nice turned wooden posts on each side. These can be bought in the fencing dept. at Home Depot. You can paint or stain them, whatever your other furniture is.Helpful Reply

Carolyn on Apr 14, 2014Thank you for the suggestions but this doesn't answer my question because I'd like to modify the frame (underneath the mattress) and not alter the appearance of the brass headboard. Looking for some type of support underneath box springs using existing bed rails etc.Helpful Reply
