Wax On the Wall!
-
Bonnie Krauss on Apr 13, 2014Unfortunately, those waxes often have oil in them which may leave a grease spot. The best way to get it off, is with heat. Hold some folded paper towel over the wax and press your iron on it. It will melt the wax and the wax will absorb into the paper towel. It may leave spots though.Helpful Reply

Valerie on Apr 14, 2014Try some brown bread and tea-tree oil. Put the oil on the bread, rub over the area. To finish off, turn the bread over, wipe across. This should remove the remaining oil. Otherwise I would also suggest using an iron, or some heat from a hair dryer.Helpful Reply

Penny on Jan 02, 2016You might try heating it with a heat gun or hair dryer to lift off the wax, and then use a baking powder patch to try and lift any oily residue left behind. Put the baking powder with the tiniest bit of water in a sqared and folded paper towel and adhere it to the wall with painters tape for at least 12 hours, remove and hopefully the wall will be clear.Helpful Reply
