Any ideas as to how to inexpensively repair leaking trailer walls ?

Carolyn Faye Blizzard Lanier on Apr 14, 2014Sounds like you need some professional help, when you have a leak in trailer walls and windows sometimes they are very hard to find unless you know what you are doing, and you will spend more money than if you get a person that works on trailers.Helpful Reply

Sandy on Apr 14, 2014I suggest getting a professional to come give you an estimate. Even if it is more than you can afford, you will know what needs to be done and have a better idea of how to go about it. Getting several estimates will help you get the best price. Be sure you check references before hiring anyone. Never pay up front but wait to insure quality work. You can often work with them to reduce the cost. Sometimes the pro can do the hard part and you can do the diy friendly work. Wish you successHelpful Reply

Barbara R on Apr 14, 2014It sounds to me like you have lost some sealing around the roof. If you wait too long, you will get mold in the walls and will have totally lost your home. Yes, call a contractor (call a mobile home dealership for reference) and have them look at at. Even if you don't hire them, you'll know where to attack the problem. Good Luck!Helpful Reply
