Fake pond

Valerie on Apr 14, 2014I remember seeing that post and being absolutely fascinated ... I have spent the last hour looking for it, and simply cannot find it! There is always the possibility that the post has been removed. Could you not use something flat and spray paint it in a mat silver? How big is the area? Another idea would be to take a suitable picture and have it laminated and then lay this flat - the lamination would protect the paper, and give a slight reflection. You could select a picture which has koi in it, and it could look fantastic. You may be limited by the width that can be laminated, but I believe lengths are generally not a problem.Helpful Reply

Lisa on Apr 16, 2014I just saw one with the pond made out of blue sea glass in a shallow bowl and I know that's something you can buy at craft stores. I vaguely recall one made from a mirror, with silver paint on it. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Valerie on Apr 16, 2014I was also thinking of a mirror. I do think something laminated would survive outside. I have laminated pictures which I have put up on one of my outside walls, and they have been there for several years.Helpful Reply
