How to Make Vintage Cocktail Fork Flowers

I found some vintage cocktail forks at the thrift store and turned them into whimsical flowers for the garden or a planter. To see the full tutorial please check it out at my blog.
I found a set of 18 cocktail forks, in blue, pink and black... 6 or each. I made each flower just a little different.
Here are the pink forks with their tines curled and stems bent. I did this with pliers.
Here's my pink flower curing after I glued the bent forks to a washer using Marine Goop adhesive. I sued whatever I could to hold up the forks while my flower cured.
Here's my finished pink fork flower in the garden.
And here's a side view so you can see the 3D'ness of it.
And here are my three fork flowers in another part of the garden. To see how I made the blue and black ones please pop over to my blog and check out the tutorial.

Dayle Huber on May 16, 2015Super cute! As soon as I find some of these cocktail forks when I'm thrifting I'll be grabbing them so that I can make some for my garden! Thanks for the idea!
