Our Accessible Square Foot Garden.
by
Karen
(IC: homeowner)
I have Fibromyalgia and as part of my treatment, I have made the decision to eat locally grown fruits and vegetables. It can be expensive! So, my husband has lovingly installed a garden that is accessible for me. Now, all of us can tend our square foot garden together.
My husband is seen here lining the vertical garden with landscaper's fabric to keep the soil in. Next, we will fill with a special raised bed soil mix that is half sandy loam and half organic compost. Finally, he will install a drip irrigation system that will be a zone of our overall sprinkler system.
