Dried caulk removal
-
Lavende on Apr 16, 2014I had good success using a flat razor blade. The razor should be as flat as possible, like the kind that goes into a utility knife, and not have nubs or edges that poke out. Hold the razor nearly flush with the surface and press through the caulk to cut as much off as you can without touching the chrome. Then, use a fingernail to rub off the thin layer that remains. When you're done, polish the chrome finish with car wax to seal up any microabrasions.Helpful Reply

Sonja Oswald ~ Vintage Treasures Too on Apr 16, 2014You can also get a hand scraper which has the razor blade on it. It is easier to handle and will get the job done in no time! Good LuckHelpful Reply
