Leaf Miners
-
Lavende on Apr 18, 2014If you're looking to garden organically, the leaf miners can be kept in check using wasps called Digyphus isaea which are carried by some garden stores or can be ordered online. They eat the larvae to prevent further damage. Or alternatively, you could try Neem Oil.Helpful Reply

Douglas Hunt on Apr 19, 2014I would certainly try the parasitic wasps Lavende mentions. Sometimes the use of insecticides can make leaf miner infestations worse because you kill off their natural predators. If the problem persists, in the future you might try row covers.Helpful Reply
