Pretty Painted Faux Throw Rugs
Throw rugs are so very pretty and lend so much style to a room but that may not be possible if you have pets and children, so why not paint up a faux one !
The weather proofing has a light cocoa tint to it so it gave the rug a vintage feel. After sealing it will be permanent so its wise to use colors that you always be decorating with. I always have red in my kitchen no matter what so this color scheme will work on a permanent basis.
If you want stripes painters tape will be your best friend .
Just some painters tape , red, white and cocoa colored paints, a stencil and some weatherproofing was all it took to make this pretty faux kitchen throw rug. This was a fun craft that can be taken to any crafty level.
