Cardboard Box Wall Typography
by

I used a cardboard box and raffia to create a personalized monogram that can be hung on my wall.
I cut my T out of a thick cardboard shipping box and got a ton of raffia ready for wrapping.
I started by wrapping the "off" edges. I used hot glue to make sure I had full coverage and none of the box was showing.
Then I started wrapping the letter tightly and securely. I used hot glue to secure strands so I didn't get too many fly aways. There is a ton of glue on the back as well.
I love how puffy and 3 dimensional it turned out. It took a lot longer than I anticipated and this is my second try! The first try was a disaster of fly away raffia strands and hot glue blobs. My fingers have a few burns too! Check out the blog post for more details and photos.
