Earth Day is celebrated world-wide on April 22nd. We all want a healthy environment to live in and to leave our descendants. But sometimes we are so bombarded with environmental issues and their consequences that solutions seem overwhelming and we feel powerless to affect change in the world. The Garden Charmers (a group of gardening & nesting blogging divas) have collected a series of posts with ideas for all of us to live a greener life. The little things we do in life count!

White Oak Studio Designs on Apr 22, 2014A fitting idea to help celebrate Earth Day Barb! I hope you'll also add additional information about permaculture, water conservation, forgoing chemical fertilizers, raised garden beds, planting native plants and so on as well. My post today, Earth Day, is about water conservation; capturing and storage of rainwater off of rooftops using affordable totes. I put it on Hometalk as well as my blog http://smallhouseunderabigsky.wordpress.com
