It will also take rust spots out of clothes. I had a white summer dress that had been in the hamper with something wet and a button that rusted. I threw the dress in a drawer. About four years later I was getting ready to get rid of it because of the rust. I remembered that bar keepers friend removes rust so I thought it couldn't hurt to try it. A few minutes later and good as new.
