Free French Table Goes Glam!
Curbside Free Table got a major makeover with Metallic wax and gold metallic paint.
This table started out free! Read below to see how I transformed the blah before the ah after!
This is my free French Style table. It was literally on the sidewalk and the home owner was thrilled that I was taking it away. Can you believe my luck?
I painted the entire piece with one coat of Modern Masters Gold Metallic Paint. This coat will serve as my "base" coat.
I mixed equal parts CeCe Caldwells California Gold and Johnston Daffodil to get this color. I put the gold paint on in random brush strokes. This way it would show up in an interesting pattern under the Johnston Daffodil and California Gold.
I added CeCe Caldwells Gold Metallic Wax mixed with CeCe Caldwells Aging Cream in the details and around the corners to add a little more depth, shine and aging. All at the same time!
I love the finished project!! I used a wet rag to distress some areas and a 220 grit sandpaper to distress around the edges. New hardware also completely updates the look on this table.
