A Birch Tree Mural on a Gloomy Day...

Well it was one of those days....on a whim I decided I needed to paint, because well if any of you are a moody type of artist you may know what I'm talking about. Whether I'm super excited or feeling down in the dumps painting has always been my escape. it's a way to calm my nerves and rambling thoughts. I turn on some loud music, find a canvas which as of lately has been walls...lol and paint with a quiet mind. It's very therapeutic I tell ya. Well I decided that my victim would be my living room wall where our large window sits. I just decided I'd paint a few birch trees to frame it and with the rest of my nature inspired home it goes nicely. I can't say that it won't change in a few months because I'm like that but for now I'm going to enjoy the birch trees and the relaxing feeling it gave me while creating it.
Before...Our home is under many renovations so it's constantly changing.
You can read more about it on my blog.

I love Birch trees, I took a real branch and made a fake birch tree for the inside of my home. It really makes a statement. You did a great job.
